Reclining Loveseats
 | Humble Beginnings Home furniture over the centuries (from the Stone Age until the 20th Century) has been fairly rigid. Most older pieces were based on straight line designs, which were not very conducive to comfort, considering the contours of the human body. Sure, at some point in time, cushions and throws were introduced to the furniture world, making sitting a bit more tolerable. The designs, however, usually maintained the ubiquitous right angle (give or take 10 degrees) where the seat met the back. Luckily, for comfort seekers, the 20th century introduced us to the recliner. Relax, Put Your Feet Up A descendant of the reclining arm chair, reclining loveseats generally offer the same comforts as their predecessors: comfortable seating, elevated legs, and reclined back. Really the only difference between the two is that reclining loveseats are for those who prefer to share their idle hours in tandem. Even though reclining loveseats come as one piece, each section of the loveseat operates individually in accord with the sitter's desired position. Both sides can be adjusted to different reclining positions simultaneously. |
Versatile Seating
While there are many available styles, textures, colors, and price ranges from which to choose, reclining loveseats can also be custom-made. A reclining loveseat may also come with added features such as vibration, heat, or a lift to help the seated person rise from the chair. Some even come with built-in cup holders, a space to store the television remote, or pockets on the sides for magazines.
